Cooky's Venison Jerky

1 1/2 lbs.


1/2 tsp.

Season Salt

1/2 tsp.

Garlic Powder

1 tsp.

Onion Powder

1/4 Cup

Worcestershire Sauce

1/2 Cup

Soy Sauce

1/2 tsp.

Black Pepper

1 tsp.

Liquid Smoke (if desired)

1 tsp.


Cut venison with the grain about 1/8 inch thick.

Mix all other ingredients, and blend thoroughly.

Marinade venison in mixture for 8 hrs.

cover oven rack with foil and layer strips side by side on foil.

Leave oven door ajar. Cook on lowest setting for 8 hrs.

Turn oven off, leaving door ajar dry for an additional 8 hrs.
